clipping

Got a few new songs up. Well, new to you guys. Stayed up later than I should last night to try to get something better to showcase. I've got that now. Fun songs, and brief to boot!

I've been watching the loudness war with much interest. Clipping your tracks almost seems necessary at this point. I'm not a fan, but I do like to experiment with recordings and sounds. Anyone who listens to much of what I write knows that when I compose a song I like to see how I can change the sound from the norm.

That's how I got a lot of pedals....most guitarists can relate.

Anyway, I'm going to record some tracks fairly hot, and recreate them on what I think is a more appropriate level to learn what is worth using in this process.

So, in short, it's time to record some metal!!
